The assault caused the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
